Machine Minder
Location: Coulman Road, Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £13.60 per hour (Weekly paid, one hour for lunch unpaid)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday – overtime available various shifts.
Totake responsibility for the setup and effective operation of production machinery, this role plays a key role in ensuring that production targets are met and that all products meet our high-quality standards.
Duties:
* Complete pre-start checks in line with H&S, food safety, SKU and quality requirements prior to commencing production.
* Monitor production schedules and ensure changes to the machine are made promptly.
* Liaising with the Production Supervisor / Line Leader for breaks and changeovers to maximise equipment.
* Monitor outputs, maintain routine checks and report to Line Manager any issues arising.
* Conduct alongside Engineering team Fault diagnosis and problem solving.
* Reporting promptly any maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
* Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic working environment.
* Conduct line cleaning to required specifications.
* Conduct a thorough handover during shift finish.
* Train other/new team members when required, (upon achieving the relevant competency).
* Learn other plant and equipment when requested.
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures without exception.
