Temp to permanent HR Assistant
Location: West End / West London
Salary: £38,000-45,000 + benefits and bonus
Hybrid working – 3-4 days in the office.
Our client, a successful online retailer, is looking for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to support the Head of Human Resources & Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR administration or coordination experience who is looking to develop their career in a fast‑paced and people‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including posting vacancies and coordinating interviews
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assist with onboarding and new starter administration
- Prepare HR documentation, including contracts and offer letters
- Support payroll by providing employee data
- Respond to employee queries on HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate training and development activities
- Assist with performance management processes
- Support employee engagement and HR projects
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies
About You
- Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator or similar role
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
