Job Description:

You will deliver a comprehensive business and administrative support service to the Social Care team within the North Locality. You will play a key role in ensuring the team operates efficiently and in line with statutory requirements within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands‑on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Working alongside our experienced colleagues, you will act as a main point of contact for the service area, providing clear and effective communication when responding to enquiries and information requests.
  • It will be your responsibility to provide administrative support to managers, ensuring that processes run efficiently and procedures are followed effectively. This will include tasks such as preparing and taking minutes for key meetings.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop your research skills, gathering and analysing information relevant to your service area and collating evidence to support reports. This may also involve drafting sections of documents for use by colleagues.
  • A key part of your role will involve collating, maintaining and analysing records and data, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and effectively interpreted from computerised systems.
