This is a hands-on, highly visible role working closely with the founders and wider creative team. The business already has a huge amount of valuable content, access and community activity -they now need someone who can turn that into a highly engaging, social-first brand presence and help build a true year-round audience ecosystem around the business.
The ambition is to build one of the most recognised and trusted brands within women’s health and women’s sport, creating a platform and community that people actively want to engage with, follow and genuinely feel part of year-round.
This role will play a huge part in shaping how the brand is perceived externally, building audience affinity and creating a highly engaged community around the wider ecosystem.
Responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of the overall external brand presence, social content and community engagement strategy
- Helping shape and evolve the tone, personality, positioning and identity of the brand externally
- Building a highly engaged online community and creating meaningful audience interaction
- Creating content that drives affinity, conversation, loyalty and long-term community engagement
- Building a social-first, community-led brand presence that feels modern, culturally relevant and differentiated
- Taking ownership of the brand’s social content strategy and day-to-day channel management
- Turning founder conversations, interviews, panels and wider ecosystem activity into engaging digital content
- Creating and overseeing short-form, social-first content designed to drive engagement, conversation and audience growth
- Identifying creative ways to maximise content output across multiple touchpoints and formats
- Partnering closely with the Design Lead to ensure all content feels visually elevated, premium and distinctive
- Supporting wider commercial goals through audience growth, sponsorship visibility, ecosystem engagement and future subscription/community opportunities
- Tracking content performance, engagement and audience growth metrics to continually refine strategy
- Experimenting with new formats, trends and ideas to continually evolve the brand presence online
About You
- c. 3-6 years’ experience across brand, social, community or content-focused roles
- Background within health, femtech, healthtech, medtech or community-led tech startups would be highly advantageous
- Strong experience creating engaging social content and growing online communities
- Naturally understands what performs well socially and how to create content people actually want to engage with and share
- Strong eye for brand, storytelling and content quality
- Comfortable working closely with founders, creatives and fast-moving startup teams
- Commercially aware and understands how brand/community activity contributes to wider business growth
- Excited by building something from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
