Process Technician

Process Technician – 12‑Month Contract

Roche is looking for two Process Technicians to join the Process Engineering team for a 12‑month contract with the possibility of extension.

Location

On‑site at Athena Motherwell. One role will also require working at Dumyat; 70% of the time will be spent at Bathgate.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with manufacturing technicians and engineers to operate sensor manufacture line and support packaging.
• Monitor product and process data using statistical analysis techniques.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues quickly and report progress in a structured way.
• Conduct CTQ testing and material/product analysis.
• Investigate non‑conformances, develop OCAPs and preventive measures.
• Support NPD projects, validate activities and prepare validation documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through engagement of production team.
• Update and maintain manufacturing documentation (SOPs, work instructions, BOMs) and lead/support change control.

Essential Education & Qualifications

• Process Excellence Yellow or Green belt (advantage).
• Degree qualified or relevant experience.
• Experience in rotary converting and/or reel‑to‑reel printing (rotary screen / flexographic etc., advantage).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods / techniques.

Requirements & Key Skills

• GMP experience.
• Hands‑on Process Technician with relevant industry experience (preferably medical device).
• Experience optimizing product and processes.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Team player, accountable for manufacturing challenges.
• Strong analytical skills – analyse production data to meet CTQs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and sense of urgency.
• Detail oriented, maintaining highest levels of quality and productivity.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods / techniques.
