Role Description
The Night Senior Care Assistant will be responsible for supporting and managing night‑time caregiving activities to ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity and compassion. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, monitoring resident well‑being, adhering to care plans and managing a team of night care staff. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Wigan, requiring commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Manual Handling and Caregiving
- Compassionate and effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in dementia care and understanding related needs
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Relevant NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a senior care role, particularly in a residential or nursing care setting, is advantageous
