We’re working with a leading food manufacturing business based in Blackpool, currently seeking to recruit an experienced Hygiene Manager to oversee site hygiene standards and lead a high-performing team in a Monday to Friday role!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on and driven individual who understands the critical role hygiene plays in food safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Your Role:
- Oversee and manage all hygiene operations across the site.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external audit requirements (e.g. BRC, retailer standards).
- Lead, develop, and motivate the hygiene team to maintain high standards across production areas.
- Work cross-functionally with production, technical, and engineering teams to improve hygiene procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement and support a food safety culture on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Hygiene Manager (or similar) within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Experience managing teams and leading audits.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong eye for detail.
