Junior Architectural Technician / Architectural Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join a well-established architectural practice, delivering creative and practical design solutions across a diverse range of sectors.

As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will work alongside senior team members on live residential projects, gaining technical expertise and progressing towards MCIAT chartership.

This role offers a salary range of GBP 25,000 – GBP 30,000 and benefits.

Grads with high technical ability and Architectural Assistants with demonstrable technical experience will also be considered.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Assisting senior technologists with planning and technical drawing packages.
• Preparing and updating drawings under supervision.
• Supporting building regulations submissions.
• Helping to coordinate consultant information.
• Maintaining organised project documentation.
• Learning about building detailing, specification, and construction processes.

Essential

• Relevant qualifications in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Genuine ambition to qualify as an Architectural Technologist.
• Commitment to working towards CIAT chartership.
• Excellent technical skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with volume house builders.
• Familiarity with UK residential construction.
