About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes across Tilehurst and Caversham. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing within the community.
Flexible full-time and part-time contracts are available; however, weekend availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
Assist with meal preparation and hydration
Help with light household duties such as cleaning and laundry
Support with shopping and attending appointment
Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns
Promote independence, dignity, and person-centred care at all times
About You
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
Must be able to work weekends
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (desirable depending on area coverage)
Right to work in the UK
