We are looking for Support Workers to join our team at Cygnet Taunton.

Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides acute inpatient admissions service for men and women and a specialist inpatient service for men diagnosed with a learning disability. In addition, a new neuro‑cognitive service line for men, coming soon.

Your Day‑to‑Day

£13.45 per hour

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients and residents.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
  • Safeguard and maintain a safe and clean environment for all.

You are genuinely driven with a desire to make a real difference in peoples’ lives, an excellent communicator and a good team player, sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment, and willing to help empower and support service‑user independence.
