Due to a growth in our care provision services, we have an exciting new opportunity for a number of Support Workers to join our team at Kintail Gardens, Glasgow. As part of a compassionate and dedicated team, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our service users, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful differences in the lives of individuals, assisting them with daily tasks, promoting independence and fostering a warm and supportive environment.
Hours of Employment
20 hours a week on a 3 days out of 7 shift rota. 30 minutes unpaid break.
Responsibilities
In your role as Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals in their own homes including:
- Assisting with household tasks
- Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care
- Medication prompting and administration
Qualifications
You will:
- Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Have the ability and initiative to work on a lone working basis
- Have good time keeping, time management and organisational skills
- Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification
- Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
