Teacher of Sociology and Psychology (Key Stage 5)

Position: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Lift Aylward, 1 Windmill Road, Edmonton, London, N18 1NB, United Kingdom

Responsibilities

  • Teach Sociology and Psychology at KS5
  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons that inspire deep thinking
  • Track progress and provide targeted support to maximise student achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
  • Play an active role in our supportive sixth form and wider school community

Qualifications

  • Excellent subject knowledge in Sociology and/or Psychology
  • Holds QTS
  • Experience teaching KS5 or a motivation for post‑16 teaching
  • Builds positive relationships and sets high expectations for all learners
  • Is reflective, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement
