Job Title – Primary Teacher
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Primary Teacher to join their team in September, full time.
About the School
The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. It is growing in strength and provides training to all staff. The position is open to both newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and experienced teachers, with opportunities for extension or a permanent role depending on performance.
Contract / Position Details
- Location: Barking and Dagenham, IG11
- Position: Primary Teacher
- Type of work: Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parent evenings, etc.
- Start date: September
- Duration / Likely duration: Three full terms
- Contract end date: Ongoing
- Contract type: Temporary contract
- Full time/part time: Full time
- Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate £170 per day
- Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2 in the UK
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training issued within the last year
Eligibility for This Role Through Prospero Teaching
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced child‑barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional child‑related references covering at least the last two years
