£12.81 per hour + Enhanced Overtime Rate

8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday

An engineering company based in Oswestry is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join their team. They pride themselves on the delivery of high-class products and are a market leader within their sector. The successful candidate will be health and safety minded, have a good eye for detail and be able to work within a team.

The Mechanical Technician Role

• Quality assurance and safety checks on finished products
• Identify and resolve issues on products
• Ensure all paperwork is completed with high attention to detail
• Report any safety issues to management
• Carry out testing to ensure products are of a high quality
• Quality check that products are ready for dispatch

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skills:

• Experience working within the production environment.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Highly organised and motivated to achieve objectives.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of a similar role.
