Supply Desk, in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council, is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in schools located in Buckingham and the surrounding areas. About the Role
We are looking for caring and motivated individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. In this role, you will work one-to-one with pupils who require additional support due to special educational needs, helping them engage in learning and develop confidence.
You may support students with needs such as:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Dyslexia
- Learning difficulties
- Social, emotional and behavioural needs
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive support strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude
- Flexibility to work in different school settings in Buckingham
