Cover Supervisor- Bebington

Randstad Education is urgently recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors across Bebington (CH62, CH63) and the surrounding Wirral area. We are looking for adaptable professionals with a proven track record in either mainstream or SEN settings.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people (e.g., coaching, youth work).
• Effective communication skills to explain tasks and give instructions.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to handle challenging behaviour.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Your Role

• Lead the classroom by supervising students as they complete pre-set work.
• Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Guide learning by explaining lesson objectives and answering student questions.
• Ensure a safe environment by following all school safeguarding procedures.
• Take accurate registers and monitor attendance at the start of every lesson.
• Collect completed work and provide feedback for the returning teacher.
• Act as a professional role model, encouraging students to stay on task and engaged.
