KS1/EYFS Teaching and Learning Assistant

Gorseybrigg Primary School and Nursery is seeking a motivated, friendly and child‑centred TA to join our popular school from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of our teachers and specialist TAs to support children in our EYFS and KS1 classes, including some of our younger SEN pupils
• Support the happy environment in our Breakfast Club each morning
• Build excellent relationships with children, staff and parents
• Have experience working with children in EYFS and KS1
• Want to further develop skills and engage in training
• Have the ability to develop own ideas
• Ensure the safety and care of our pupils is the highest priority
• Be efficient, adaptable and hard working
