BRC are currently recruiting for a Homelessness Outreach Worker to join a supportive and values driven team in Abergavenny on a temporary full time contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to support vulnerable individuals within the community, helping people access services, improve wellbeing and move towards independence.

Responsibilities

• Providing practical and emotional support within the community
• Supporting individuals with housing, wellbeing and accessing local services
• Working closely with external agencies and support providers
• Building positive relationships and encouraging independence
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to support plans and risk assessments

Skills

• Experience within homelessness, outreach or support work
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently
• Understanding of safeguarding and support planning
• Driver with access to own vehicle
• Valid Enhanced DBS within the year

This role would suit someone passionate about making a real difference in the community and supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.
