This is a hands‑on leadership role where you won’t just be supervising from a distance, you’ll be actively involved in the work alongside your team. You’ll assign tasks, monitor performance, provide on‑the‑job training, and ensure safety standards are consistently met. When challenges arise, you’ll take the lead in resolving issues, supporting your team, and maintaining high levels of productivity and service quality.
Your ability to communicate clearly, motivate others, and maintain a structured, well‑organised shift will directly contribute to the success of our Belfast operation.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate shift activities, working closely with other shift leaders to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Lead and manage shift teams by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure timely and effective completion of work.
- Oversee daily warehousing and production operations, including bulk loading/unloading, filling, mixing, and blending processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and quality standards throughout all shift activities.
- Carry out administrative duties related to shift operations, including reporting and documentation.
- Provide leadership and support to a small team of operators, fostering a productive and collaborative working environment.
Hours:
- Standard working hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Peak season (April to September): 10:00am – 6:00pm
