A globally recognised provider of legal, risk, and compliance solutions is hiring a Business Development Manager to join its newly built Regulatory Compliance division.
This is a pure new business role within an early‑stage, high‑growth team, offering the opportunity to join at ground level, shape market presence, and build a strong pipeline in a high-demand sector.

The Role
This is a true hunter position focused exclusively on new logo acquisition.
You’ll own the entire sales process end‑to‑end, from prospecting through to close, before handing deals over to Client Managers post‑sale. Operating in an open territory with no vertical or account restrictions, you’ll have full autonomy to build your pipeline and approach the market strategically.
- Full‑cycle sales ownership: Prospecting → Discovery → Demo → Close → Handover
- Build and manage your own pipeline (critical to success)
- Target mid‑market Financial Services organisations
- Engage senior stakeholders across compliance and risk functions
- Run product demos and lead commercial negotiations
- Work closely with leadership to shape early go‑to‑market activity
What You’ll Be Selling
- Regulatory Compliance and risk intelligence solutions
- Subscription‑based platforms and data‑driven insights
- Tools supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) functions
Target Customers
- Banks, asset managers, payment providers, and building societies
- Buyer personas: Head of Compliance, Compliance Manager
- Multi‑stakeholder deals often involving procurement, finance, and leadership teams
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4+ years’ experience in a BDM / New Business role
- Strong hunter mentality with high outbound activity levels
- Experience selling SaaS, data, or subscription‑based solutions
- Confident running your own demos and closing deals independently
- Comfortable with cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
- Commercially driven with a track record of hitting targets
Nice to have:
- Exposure to compliance, regulatory, or financial services markets
