Title: Food & Beverage Assistant – Rievaulx Abbey, Helmsley, North Yorkshire, YO62 5LB. Salary: £13.01 per hour, 16–24 hours in Summer; zero‑hour contract in Winter. Permanent role.
This part‑time role (April–October 16–24 hrs/week, November–March zero‑hour) involves assisting in food and beverage service within a heritage setting.
Responsibilities
- Take and prepare food and drink orders.
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
About You
- Understand what excellent customer service entails and enjoy delivering it.
- Engage positively with people from all backgrounds.
- Work well as part of a team.
Experience in a food and beverage role and knowledge of food safety and allergens is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
