We’re recruiting an experienced and passionate Café Manager to lead the ASDA café operation in Newport. This is a hands-on role for a strong leader who can deliver excellent customer service and smooth day-to-day operations in a busy retail environment.
As Café Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the café, leading your team to deliver consistent standards while driving performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and develop your catering and front-of-house teamEnsure smooth daily operations across the caféManage budgets, stock, and labour to meet targets and KPIsMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and complianceBuild a positive customer experience and represent the brandIdentify opportunities to improve service and drive salesSupport, train, and motivate your team to perform at their bestAbout You Passionate about customer serviceExperience managing teams in a café, retail, or catering environmentStrong organisational and communication skillsAble to manage financials, stock, and performance targetsLevel 2 Food Hygiene and relevant catering qualifications (desirable)A motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
