9-month contract paying 33 an hour

Are you passionate about automotive technology and excited by the future of connected vehicles?

We’re looking for a System Test & Validation Engineer to join a team developing the next generation of digital vehicle experiences. This is an opportunity to work on a product you can genuinely believe in—one that sits at the heart of a luxury vehicle platform and plays a critical role in shaping the future of mobility.

You’ll be responsible for validating system features across our connected car ecosystem, ensuring robust performance, exceptional quality, and a seamless customer experience from concept through to production.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating and maintaining detailed system-level test plans aligned to software release schedules

• Leading test activities, prioritising execution, and tracking progress against delivery milestones

• Designing comprehensive test cases and scenarios to ensure full requirements coverage

• Reviewing test artefacts to ensure quality, consistency, and traceability

• Driving test execution, analysing results, and reporting outcomes to key stakeholders

• Performing end-to-end validation on vehicles and test rigs to ensure feature maturity

• Managing defects through the full lifecycle and coordinating resolution with internal and external teams

• Supporting continuous improvement of validation processes, automation, and test asset reuse

What we’re looking for:

• Experience developing test strategies and system-level validation plans

• Strong understanding of real-world usage scenarios, edge cases, and failure mode testing

• Experience managing defects through the full defect lifecycle

• Hands-on knowledge of automotive architectures and communication protocols including CAN, Ethernet, SOME/IP, and DoIP

• Experience with logging and measurement tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, or Intrepid

• Vehicle-level and test rig validation experience, including ECU flashing

• Strong understanding of automotive development processes and validation methodologies

Why join

You’ll be joining a collaborative, non-hierarchical engineering team where ownership, initiative, and technical excellence are valued. This is a chance to influence the validation approach for cutting-edge connected vehicle technologies while helping drive the transformation toward next-generation digital experiences and a carbon-neutral future.

If you’re an engineer who enjoys taking ownership, making decisions, and delivering high-quality automotive systems, we’d love to hear from you.
