Class 1 Driver – Dray Work

Location: Coleshill, B46, Birmingham

Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Contract

We’re looking for reliable Class 1 Drivers in the B46 area to take on dray work delivering alcohol (kegs and stock) to pubs, restaurants, and venues. This is a physically demanding role requiring handling kegs weighing up to 60kg each. A driver’s mate will always accompany you to share the load.

The Role

• Deliver alcohol kegs and stock safely to customers
• Heavy lifting involved – kegs up to 60kg per item
• Driver’s mate always provided
• Training given – no dray experience needed
• Start times: 5am – 7am
• Guaranteed 50 hours per week
• Compliance with driving regulations

Pay Rates – C+E Licence Required

Training Rate (First 2 Weeks): £15 per hour

Monday to Friday (After 2 Weeks): £16.92 per hour

Saturdays: £25.38 per hour

What You Need

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (up to 60kg)
• Positive, can-do attitude and team player
