Senior Structural Technician – Birmingham

Salary: GBP45,000 – GBP50,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Technician to join our well-established multi‑disciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. The role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects and to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior engineers to deliver structural designs from concept to completion.
• Produce detailed RC structural drawings and specifications in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Mentor and support junior technicians, contributing to the development of the team.
• Manage workloads independently while collaborating closely with engineers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar structural technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge of RC detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and extensive Revit expertise.
• Excellent ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
