KS2 Teacher – Wakefield

Full Time – 5 days a week. Commences: ASAP.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to inspire confidence, build resilience, and prepare children for the transition to secondary school.

We partner with a warm and friendly mainstream nursery, infant and junior school with a supportive Senior Leadership Team. As a KS2 Teacher you will follow the ethos and values of the school and employ positive reinforcement to help pupils achieve their best.

Requirements

• Hold QTS or equivalent
• Proven track record in Key Stage 2 teaching
• Outstanding KS2 practitioner
• Understanding of how trauma can impact a child’s behaviour and learning
• Flexible and adaptable, think on your feet
• Reliable with good time‑keeping
• Strong classroom management skills
• Firm but fair attitude
• Adherence to school policies and follow planning when set
