Production Manager

  • Annual Salary: 35,000 – 45,000

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Production Manager to join a well-established, family-run business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Food Production and is looking to take ownership of the daily production process in a company that values craftsmanship and community.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the production of a diverse range of ice cream products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a small production team to achieve excellent results.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, with a good understanding of HACCP.
  • Manage stock levels, ingredient ordering, and production scheduling efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain production equipment, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to support new product development and manage seasonal product ranges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ice cream or gelato production.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, capable of leading a small team.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all aspects of production.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work closely with both production staff and management.
