Design Manager – Rail
Salary: £75k + pkg

My client is a hugely respected company within the Rail sector, covering multidisciplinary engineering, rail and infrastructure projects, and have a successful track record of delivering projects across the UK; working with Network Rail, London Underground as well as light rail and tram operating companies.
Role overview
The ideal candidate will undertake the duties of a Design Manager/CEM position, meeting design and construction requirements for a major rail project to the value of £70 million.
Responsibilities / Requirements
- Experience of working with Tier One contractors with at least 10 years industry experience is imperative.
- Strong civil, structural and multidisciplinary background; expert in using CAD and Excel systems; capable of managing a team of design engineers and sub-contractors.
- Chartership advantageous but not essential.
- Strong proven leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
