Class Teacher – KS1 or KS2

Allfarthing Primary School is looking to appoint a Class Teacher to start in September 2026 for a one‑year fixed‑term contract in Inner London.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality teaching and learning to KS1 or KS2 pupils.
• Plan, implement, and assess curriculum aligned with national standards.
• Use a behaviour approach built on Paul Dix research, focusing on kindness and consistency.
• Participate in CPD and professional development opportunities.
• Support the inclusive, collaborative whole school community.
• Engage with the onsite forest school initiative and contribute to whole‑school resources.
• Maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experienced teacher or early‑career teacher (ECT) with a commitment to high expectations.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for inspiring children and leading with kindness.
• Understanding of KS1/KS2 curriculum and assessment.
