Residential Support Worker – Full Time | Permanent
We are looking for caring, committed, and enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team, supporting children and young people within a residential care setting. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting children and young people in their day‑to‑day lives.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
- Completing daily recordings, reports, and other required documentation.
- Contributing to care planning and risk assessments.
- Supporting educational, social, and recreational activities.
- Maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment.
- Attending team meetings, supervision sessions, and training events.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
- Acting as a positive role model for young people and new team members.
- Supporting senior staff and shift leaders in delivering high‑quality care.
Training & Development
- A comprehensive induction programme.
- Full training on internal systems and procedures.
- Access to extensive online and face‑to‑face training.
- Regular fortnightly supervision and ongoing support.
- Opportunities to complete the QCF Level 4 qualification.
- Development in completing risk assessments, care plans, and document checks.
