About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a pivotal role within the academy, supporting the efficient day‑to‑day running of the school and providing a professional service to staff, pupils, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality administrative and clerical support across the school
- Act as a first point of contact on reception, offering a welcoming and professional service
- Manage communications across the academy, including with parents and carers
- Support the organisation of school trips, events, and wider school activities
- Input and maintain accurate records, including purchase orders and MIS systems
- Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
- Assist with recruitment administration and onboarding processes
- Support school operations, including fire drills, communications, and general organisation
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient school environment

- Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly manner
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively
- A proactive, flexible approach to work and a willingness to support the wider school
- Experience of working in a busy administrative environment (school experience desirable)
- A commitment to supporting positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Knowledge of school systems such as CPOMS and Bromcom would be advantageous
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
