About the Role

As a Teacher with Witherslack Group, you will support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, and other complex learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored teaching to children aged 8‑16 in a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art facility.
- Plan and implement learning activities that build abilities and raise self‑esteem.
- Work collaboratively with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
- Track individual pupil progress and provide specialist support.
- Participate in whole‑school initiatives to promote inclusion and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience with children who have special educational needs.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check – costs will be covered by the employer.
