Junior Clinical Teaching & Research Fellow
Fixed term contract: 12 months. Full‑time, Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 hours, with no out‑of‑hours commitments.

A 12‑month fixed term post subject to satisfactory appraisal with the Service Line Lead, Undergraduate Teaching Lead and Research Leads.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research activities relating to medical retina.
- Develop, coordinate and participate in a teaching program for undergraduates in Ophthalmology.
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of teaching to medical students rotating through Royal Free London during their placement in Ophthalmology.
- Establish systems for delivery of training in Ophthalmology across sub‑specialties.
- Join the wider team for educational and training purposes, involving cross‑site working.
Qualifications
- Ophthalmology trainee at post‑Foundation year 2 level.
- Desire to gain experience in teaching and research.
- Willingness to work cross‑site within the Department.
