Kitchen Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and organised individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the chef in creating healthy, balanced meals and snacks, including adherence to dietary requirements and allergens.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, following COSHH regulations and health‑and‑safety protocols.
• Work effectively as part of a team, while being able to work independently when required, managing time efficiently.
• Offer support, communication and engagement to residents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Kitchen Assistant role: 40 hours per week, including alternative weekends.
• Prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. Care experience is not mandatory.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and able to show empathy to the needs of others.
