Job Description
As a Refuse & Recycling Loader in our Breckland team, you’ll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Watton. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
Responsibilities
- Complete a pre-planned route with the driver and loaders in your team, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
- You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
- Contribute to keeping the area beautiful, safe and a clean place to live and work – a responsibility we take great pride in!
Qualifications
- Physically fit and healthy (this is a must, due to the nature of the work!)
- Dedicated, friendly and professional team player – punctuality is very important too.
- Willing to go the extra mile on your rounds to help your team hit its targets.
