HGV Driver

Manpower are recruiting for a reliable Class 2 Driver to join a busy and expanding operation based in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity with a well-established company offering long-term, stable work and consistent hours.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

You will be responsible for delivering kitchens and kitchen units to both residential and commercial customers, working alongside a driver’s mate. The role is physically demanding and involves regular heavy lifting.

Duties include:

• Delivering kitchens and related products to customers
• Working with a driver’s mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading kitchen units and materials
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Providing a high standard of customer service at delivery points
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude
