Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during general dental treatments and selected advanced procedures.
  • Maintain clinical hygiene and uphold cross‑infection control protocols to the highest standards.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain materials, instruments, and digital systems for efficient workflow.
  • Support digital dentistry processes including scanning, treatment documentation, and patient coordination.
  • Collaborate with multiple clinicians, adapting to different styles and treatment plans.
  • Assist in onboarding and supporting new dental nurses or trainees.
  • Support flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings or Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse certification required.
  • Overseas‑qualified dentists may apply.
  • Active GDC registration is mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical dental setting.
  • Experience in busy or multidisciplinary practices preferred.
  • Exposure to advanced treatments or implant workflows is a plus, but not essential.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of dental materials, chairside protocols, and infection control.
  • Familiarity with Exact and Dentally software systems.
  • Understanding of digital tools such as intraoral scanners is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional Saturdays.
