What you’ll be doing
- Tomanagelivemodelfittingsacrossavarietyofproductranges.Productfittingsarefastpacedandareacollaborativeapproachwithbuyinganddesignteams.Attentiontodetailiskeyandabilitytoworkatspeednecessary.
- Fittingandapprovingfromphysicalsamplesandestablishedblocksusingbrandstandardisedgradingsandtemplates.
- Creationofcomprehensive,clear,andlogicalwrittencommentscompletewithsupportingimageryanddiagramsforsupplierstounderstandandachievethedesiredproductfitandquality.
- Strongunderstandingoftestreportsandchemicalcompliancetoensuretheproductmeetscustomerandbrandexpectations.
- Strongunderstandingofpatternconstructiontosupportsupplierscorrectlyandefficiently,improvingfitandreducingsamplequantity.
- Strongunderstandingofgarmentconstructiontoensurethebestpossiblemethodsareusedwithincostandtoachieveapremiumanddurablefinish.
- Understandingofproductreturnsandimplementingimprovementsbasedontheproductsperformance.
- AbilitytosupportothermembersoftheTechnicalteamwithfitandqualityqueriesandbeanadvisorytootherfunctionswithinthebusinesssuchasBuying,Design,MerchandSourcing.
- Understandingoffabriccharacteristicsandbehaviourforproductsuitability.
- Maintainingthecriticalpathwithaccuracyandconsistencysovisibilityoftheproductprogressioniseasilyaccessibletoallfunctionswithinthebusiness.
About you
- 4years’experienceatasimilarlevelwithinawomenswearfunctionwithstrongunderstandingandexperienceofoccasiondressesandouterwearproduct.
- Collaborativeandclearcommunicator.AbilitytoworkwiththewiderproductteamsuchasBuying,Design,Merchandise,MarketingandSourcingandbuildingsuccessfulworkingrelationships.
- Organised,agileandabletoprioritisewithinabusyofficeenvironmentwherechangeofprioritiesarefrequent.
- Activecontributortoproductdiscussions,sharingofideasandnewprocessestoimprovebestpractice.
- Supportive,fairandmotivationaltoworkwith.
- Confidentintheirabilityandabletovoiceopinionsandideasinaprofessionalmanner.
