Support Worker Days at Danybryn
Location: Danybryn – Heol Isaf, Radyr, Cardiff
Salary: £13.67 per hour
Hours: 36 hour contract
Shift Times: 07:00 – 19:30

Danybryn is a 31 bed home for residents with physical disabilities age from 18 upwards. All rooms are single, ensuite with ceiling track hoists. We are situated in Radyr within walking distance of a small area of shops and hairdresser. The local pub and garden centre are a 2 minute drive away. We have extensive gardens including a disabled friendly allotment, a summer house with patio area and beautiful flower beds.
Job Responsibilities
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:
- Providing person‑centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
- Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
- Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
- Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
- Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
