Reserve Firefighter (On-Call) – Community Safety Support

Avonfire seeks Reserve Firefighters to provide resilience support during unforeseen staff shortages, including strike action. Candidates will undergo extensive training to develop skills critical for community safety. Successful candidates must be physically fit, possess a valid driving license, and live within the operational area.

Training includes an initial two-day course followed by annual refreshers, with employment offered upon successful completion. Note that this role does not guarantee work and involves significant time without duty.
