Pharmacy Support Worker
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lindholme, a Category C male adult prison based in Doncaster, with an operational capacity of around 900.

Hours
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Shift pattern: 07:30–15:30, four shifts per week. Includes weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Salary
£24,785 per annum.

Candidates must have a legal right to work in the UK. Employment is subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Responsibilities
- Support the on‑site Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Manager, and the wider healthcare team
- Second‑check medication before dispensing to patients on medication rounds
- Contribute to medicine reconciliation, stock management, and transportation of medicines
- Ensure safe and secure medicines management, following policies, procedures and SOPs
- Work in the medication hatches on the wings
- Act as a key member of a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team

What We’ll Look For
- No experience required; keen interest in pharmacy and desire to pursue a career in pharmacy and healthcare
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing is a bonus, but not essential
- Ideally, medicines handling experience, though not essential
- Hard worker, diligent, with high attention to detail
