You will be responsible for opening and/or closing the store, ensuring smooth service, and assisting with leading the team alongside the rest of the café management team. This position requires a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a hands‑on approach to delivering outstanding customer experiences.,
- Opening & Closing Duties: Responsible for opening or closing the café, including setting up for service, cash handling, and securing the premises.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver an outstanding experience to every customer, upholding The Flour Pot Bakery’s excellent service standards.
- Team Leadership: Support and motivate the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Support: Assist with stock management, health safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Problem Solving: Handle customer concerns, resolve issues efficiently, and elevate when necessary.
- Barista & Food Service: Confidently prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food, maintaining consistency and speed.
- Sales & Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and support end‑of‑day reporting.
- Previous experience in a hospitality, café, or retail environment.
- Experience in a supervisory or key holder role is preferred.
- Passion for great coffee, food, and customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Food hygiene and safety awareness (training provided if needed).
