We are currently looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join one of our clients on a long term basis.
The company is a world leader in the manufacture, modification and servicing of specialist products for the rail industry.
Based in their purpose-built premises in Wiltshire, the role will involve working on the assembly of braking systems for trains.
Responsibilities
- Work from assembly instruction, assembling components
- Test and fault find on existing and new equipment
- Replace faulty components
- Repair faulty equipment
- Re-build equipment
- Perform general mechanical and basic electrical fitting work
Qualifications
The successful candidates will have some previous experience of mechanical and/or electrical assembly or be used to using basic hand tools. They will ideally have experience of working on the repair and maintenance of smaller scale machinery. It is essential that applicants can read and understand assembly instructions.
Work Schedule
This is an ongoing role for the right candidate and will be working on either a day shift or night shift basis Monday – Thursday.
