CNC Miller (Setter / Operator)

CNC Miller (Setter / Operator) – £35,000 to £40,000 per annum with 1.5× overtime, 39‑hour week, early finish Fridays, and pension provision.

Your role as a CNC Setter/Operator will involve setting up, programming and operating 5‑axis CNC milling machines to produce high‑quality aerospace and defense components. Duties include machine set‑up, precision machining, quality inspection and maintaining production standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Set‑up and operate 5‑axis CNC milling machines.
• Create a variety of parts for the aerospace and defense sectors.
• Operate from Monday to Thursday 7:30am‑4:30pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays.
• Ensure parts meet strict industry specifications and quality standards.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Experience in setting up and operating 5‑axis CNC milling machines.
• Ability to program and maintain 5‑axis CNC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of machining tolerances and precision manufacturing.
• Willingness to commute to Bristol, South West England.
