Design & Technology Teacher (DT)
A High‑Achieving & Modern “Outstanding” Secondary School is on the hunt for a Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join their team for a September 2026 start. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
The Head Teacher prides themselves on their ambitious & highly engaged staff team who enjoy working collaboratively to achieve best results – this is reflected in their “Outstanding” practice in every category.
Experienced Design Technology (DT) Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more. Newly Qualified Design Technology (DT) Teachers (ECT) will also be enrolled onto the School’s very own bespoke ECT induction, and work alongside a range of young & experienced DT Teachers.
School visits and initial chats are welcomed by the Headteacher to discuss aspirations within the school & how you can add value to their friendly and successful team.

- MPS1‑UPS3 + TLR (size depending on experience)
- Located in the Borough of Waltham Forest
Person Specification
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
- Strong academics across the board – Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ level
- Capable of working as part of a team of DT Teachers
- Willing to listen to feedback
