We are recruiting a Breakfast Chef to join a beautiful hotel and restaurant just four miles from Arundel. Set in the heart of the South Downs, this unique venue features walled gardens, flint-and-timber charm, and its own vineyard, creating a true plot‑to‑plate dining experience.

You’ll focus on delivering high‑quality breakfast service using fresh, seasonal ingredients, working within a supportive brigade and positive kitchen culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie looking for better work‑life balance, easily commutable from Worthing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a smooth and high‑quality morning service as a Breakfast Chef
• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
• Set up and organise the kitchen for breakfast service
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
• Manage your section efficiently during morning service
• Support the wider kitchen team as required

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Breakfast Chef in a professional kitchen
• Strong understanding of breakfast service and fresh food preparation
• Ability to manage your own section confidently
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Enjoy working as part of a supportive brigade
• Keen to learn, develop, and progress your career
