Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Langley Park for a Low Loader Driver. The primary responsibilities include the safe transport of heavy machinery and plant equipment to and from customer sites and depots. Duties include performing pre- and post-operational checks on vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, loading and unloading plant machinery, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 license and a clean driving record
- Experience operating and transporting heavy machinery, including low loaders and plant equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in transport and construction industries
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet tight schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor environments
- Experience in logistics or plant hire operations is a plus
