Lecturer, Travel and Tourism (Part‑time, 29.5 hrs per week, Thurrock Campus)
Responsibilities
- Support positive behaviour and attendance of the cohort in collaboration with the teaching team and the National Occupational Knowledge (NOK).
- Ensure learner needs are prioritised and offer opportunities for all learners to achieve their full potential in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
- Deliver high quality teaching and learning across a range of awarding bodies.
- Develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials that enable all learners to achieve their full potential and comply with educational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Level 2 & 3 qualification in crew/aviation.
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience in the travel and tourism sector.
- Qualified teacher with experience in further education.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using tracking systems.
