Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK and European markets. This is a hands-on, revenue-focused role combining lead generation, relationship building, and closing B2B contracts within a technical and safety-critical environment.
You will own the full sales lifecycle — from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to contract negotiation and long-term client management.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organisations across the UK & Europe
Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking
Manage the full end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract close
Lead sales meetings, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations with stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with oil majors, terminal operators, and industrial service providers
Arrange and attend client visits, site meetings, conferences, and exhibitions across the region
About you
- 5+ years’ proven experience in B2B sales
- Demonstrated track record of winning and closing high-value deals and managing complex, long sales cycles
- Experience operating in a technical, industrial, or service-led environment
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, confident in formal commercial settings
- Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a proactive approach to business development
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong relationship management skills, capable of building long-term client partnerships
- Strong IT literacy, including CRM systems, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential commercial information with discretion
- Valid Drivers license and willingness to travel as required across assigned regions
- Previous B2B sales experience in the oil and gas industry, industrial services, or similar.
- Existing network within oil & gas industry is highly desirable.
