Smart Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy Waste & Recycling operation in the Bristol / Avonmouth area.
This is straightforward, ongoing drop & swap work with no handball, consistent hours, and a simple routine — ideal for drivers who want steady work without the heavy graft.
The Role
- Collect loaded materials from Avonmouth
- Deliver to Mitcham for unloading
- Reload with materials for Avonmouth
- Return and repeat throughout your shift
- Drop & swap only – no handball involved
- Complete daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Follow all driver hours, tachograph, and road safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Valid Digital Tacho Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with trunking / repetitive route work
